- During a chat with friends at an oceanside table at Star Grill, Vassos’ close friend Nancy Huckower (who starred with her on the original “Bachelor”) poignantly captured this message, which seems to be a theme of the show: “Loneliness is not It’s where you stay. Loneliness is where you walk.” It amazes me how much loss there can be when you reach this “golden” chapter of your life. I can’t imagine how brave they were to open themselves up to the possibility of finding love — and risk losing it, not just for themselves, but for the millions of people watching.
- The more observant among us may have noticed that Windstar doesn’t actually offer this private dinner venue – at least not yet – but wow, say I was inspired (the Yacht Club is a favorite space on the ship, open to small gatherings in the evenings Open) celebrations can be really special).
- On her three dates, Vassos explored the islands in a different way each time. - During a day themed around French Polynesian culture, Vassos and Pascal listened to traditional music, witnessed cooking in an ancient underground oven, and even danced impromptu during the welcome ceremony. Last but not least, the union ceremony – which I definitely want to do with my husband when we get back to French Polynesia – suddenly turned out to be something that definitely changed everything.
“I was thinking about this before embarking on this journey,” Vassos said in the latest episode. “Now that I’m at the end of this journey, my heart is completely open.”
