Mr. Jean-Guy de Gabriac invited Mr. Hylton Lipkin (then General Manager of Fusion Alba Health Valley) to be the Vietnam WWW National Ambassador in 2020, and I myself served as the coordinator. The Covid 19 pandemic arrived in 2020, but with coordinators and ambassadors, we never stopped spreading positive health vibes to others (Vietnamese people, local communities and government). Of course, we faced some challenges in how to operate Alba Wellness Resort during the pandemic and follow the Covid 19 procedural protocols of the Hue local government.
Our first World Wellness Weekend celebration (September 19-20, 2020) is 100% online (via Zoom). Over the past two days we have gathered health experts from the north to the south of Vietnam and announced WWW Vietman’s Facebook fan page.
Very successful!
On September 18 and 19, 2021, Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion celebrates World Wellness Weekend with live events focused on physical, emotional and environmental wellness. The resort received the “Wellness Champions aWWWard” from World Wellness Weekend 2021. In the same year, I personally received my first Health Tourism Association “Leading Light Award”!
On 16th, 17th and 18th September 2022 we once again organized live celebrations of the World Health Weekend which were very successful. we received Another “Health Champion Award”.
In 2023, Fusion-owned Alba Wellness Valley received several wellness and tourism-related awards:

- * Hot List of Best Health Plans Category 2023– Voted hotels and resorts with the best healthcare plans Provided by Travellive Magazine.
* Tourism + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao winners announced Asia Pacific Luxury Brand Awards 2023revealing the best destinations, hotels, pools, spas chosen by our readers. Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion won two awards: 1. 3rd place among the Top 10 Hotel Spas in Vietnam, 2. 5th place among the Top 10 Hotel Spas in the Mainland.
I believe that our awards are a result of the hard work we have put in over the years since joining World Health Weekend.
