If you want your collection American Airlines To make the most of your miles and splurge on a first-class trip to Europe, there are some great deals flying out of Los Angeles. Specifically, AA will redeem Flagship First from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) with 110,000 AAdvantage miles one-way in early 2025.

TPG recently reported on American Airlines’ plans Phase out flagships first. It’s the last of an endangered breed—the last true first-class product offered by a major U.S. airline. Although the airline has not yet announced a specific date for the end of its flagship first class service, the service is still available on AA’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft flying overseas. With only eight First Class suites available on these limited flights, it will be a truly special travel experience.
This latest offer offers ample savings for travel from Los Angeles between January and March 2025; it is one of only four cities in Europe where American still operates 777-300s. In addition to lie-flat seats and enhanced food and beverage service, you’ll have access to the flagship first-class lounge and priority check-in at LAX.
Tip: When searching the AA website, use the calendar view to see if first class redemptions are available. Make sure to click the “Show all classes” drop-down list and then click “First” to filter the options.
