Big changes are coming to Disney World in 2025we are preparing for everything.
Well, we’re doing our best to prepare. We take it day by day Make sure you know what you need to make your upcoming vacation the best it can be! If you go to the park in February, You need to know that several rides will be closed throughout the month!
magic kingdom
Three attractions will be closed throughout February. The first of which is Big Thunder Mountain Railroadwill close on January 6 and will remain closed for at least a year. We don’t have a reopening date and likely won’t have one for some time, but we’ll keep you posted!
astronomical orbiter It will also close on January 13 and will not reopen for several months. Again, there is no reopening date, but we do expect this opening to be earlier than the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
at last, Presidential Hall It closed on January 20 and reopened a few months later. Closing every 4 years after a US election, attractions always reopen to properly reflect the new (or returning) president.
EPCO
Two EPCOT attractions will close in February — the first test trackwhich is closing in 2023 to make way for a new version of the ride that will debut this summer!
carnival trip It will also be closed throughout February for renovations. The closure begins on January 6 and will last until March 15, when the rides will reopen.
However, the reopening timeline may change at any time, so we’ll remain vigilant!
animal kingdom
In the animal kingdom, kali river rapids It will be closed for the winter from January 6 to March 2025 for annual renovations. We haven’t set an exact reopening date yet, but we’ll let you know once it is!
