Welcome to Ferguson Orchards in Galesville, Wisconsin, where family fun and seasonal delights blend perfectly!
As we turned the corner into the parking lot, we both had pretty much the same thought coming out of our mouths: “Wow, this is really beautiful!”.
The orchard is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with apple trees planted neatly in rows. With classic red barn buildings scattered below, this is everything you imagine when you think of a perfect cute farm!
The setting is beautiful, but it’s all the fun things that keep us here. We actually spent the entire day exploring the orchard and all the family-friendly activities on site.
From apple and pumpkin picking to fun agricultural attractions, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
We spent a few hours bouncing on the pumpkin jump platform, navigating the corn maze, and then cooled down with apple cider smoothies. This beautiful orchard guarantees a day filled with fun and unforgettable moments.
Here’s everything you need to do at Ferguson Orchards in Galesville!
1. apple picking
Pack a basket and head to the apple orchard to pick your own juicy apples from 400,000 apple trees.
2. farmers market
Browse the markets for delicious treats, from fresh produce to baked goods and local jams. It’s a treasure trove full of delicious finds! Don’t forget to pick up some apple cider donuts.
3. Sunflower Stroll
Walking in the sunflower fields is like walking into a beautiful and colorful dream. The view is amazing!
4. bubble barn
Enter the bubble warehouse and create and pop huge bubbles to your heart’s content. Parenting tip – bring baby wipes and check them out at the end; it’s a little sticky and you’ll get wet.
5. Gem mining
Search for shining gems in the mining area and discover hidden treasures. It’s like a mini adventure at your fingertips!
6. rubber duck contest
Pump the well handle pump to send the duck down the track. There are plenty of lanes for family racing!
7. corn maze
Get lost in the cornstalk maze and see if you can find your way out. It’s a fun challenge, full of twists and turns, and maybe a few surprises!
8. Cow train tractor ride
Hop aboard the cow train and enjoy a relaxing ride around the farm. This is a very cute tractor pulling adventure!
9. pumpkin jumping mat
Bounce high on a pumpkin-shaped inflatable mattress. The Pumpkin Jumping Pad is awesome – perfect for jumping and relaxing with the family.

Jump into the giant box full of corn kernels and let the fun begin! This is a sensory adventure for kids of all ages.
11. Western Amusement Village
Enter the Western-themed amusement village and let your imagination run wild. There’s plenty of cowboy fun and adventure here!

Zoom down the giant slide and feel the wind in your hair. This is the ultimate way to get your adrenaline pumping!

The animal barn is a highlight! We enjoyed getting up close and personal with friendly farm animals.

Climb, explore and play on a towering pyramid made of haystacks. This is a great place to climb and conquer!
15. cider puree
Cool down with a refreshing glass of apple cider slushie. Like autumn in a cup – sweet and cold!
16. Country Ropes Course
Test your balance and agility on the country ropes course. This is an exciting challenge full of adventure!
17. carriage ride
Climb aboard and enjoy a bumpy and joyful ride through the orchard. It’s a classic, comfortable experience that immerses you in the scenery.
18. pedal tractor
Hop on a tractor-themed bike and take a few fun laps around the track. Pedal tractors come in two sizes, large and small.
19. Johnny the Talking Tractor
The first thing you see when you walk up to Ferguson Orchard is Johnny the Tractor singing and dancing; our kids love him!
20. Spin Apple Tour
Hop on the Spinning Apple ride and have a great spinning time! It’s a whimsical way of twirling and giggling. Our kids loved the spin and they rode the apple at least three times while the parents only rode it once because it actually spins much faster than you think, especially after buying too many snacks from the farm store!

We visited the Ferguson Apple Orchard in Galesville outside Hockey. Ferguson Orchards has four locations, two in Wisconsin and two in Minnesota.
