Avanti Destinations offers dozens of fixed-price, non-customizable land packages across Asia, Latin America and the South Pacific, giving travel advisors a new way to book individual vacations for their clients.
Overall, Avanti, which only works with industry and does not sell to consumers, offers 58 packages in 18 countries. Advisors and their clients can view prices for different rate seasons in advance. This price includes domestic air travel but does not include international air travel.
This is the first time Avanti offers such a product.
Avanti chief executive Paul Barry said one of the reasons the company launched the product was the number of new advisers entering the industry in recent years. While they may be familiar with organizing independent travel in North America and Europe, the destinations Avanti is targeting may not be.
“Talking to many consultants, it turns out that doing the complex work of customizing individual travelers is sometimes not the best first step in creating a great vacation experience for their clients,” Barry said.
The new packages will benefit consultants and budget-conscious clients. When booking individual travel, Barry says no quote is given until the end of the process. But Avanti’s new packages are priced up front.
“It can at least start a conversation and pre-qualify customers to make sure they’re in a price range and getting the type of trip they want,” he said.
Avanti also notes that these packages are less expensive than other FIT options, but they still offer the same tours and experiences travelers want.
The packages are showcased on three new microsites, one for Asia, Latin America and south pacific.
Fixed-rate, non-customizable plans are represented by a lock symbol on the microsite. Packages include accommodation, tours, experiences and transfers, including domestic airfare. Avanti chose the hotel. While advisors are free to add pre- and post-trip packages, the itinerary itself cannot be changed.
These packages include private, shared and small group tours and experiences.
These microsites include a “Share PDF” tab that allows advisors to easily send packets to clients for review.
Packages are currently available in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
Similar 2026 travel packages are expected to be launched in Europe next year.
