Virgin Voyages, an adults-only cruise line, is making seven new changes in 2025 to make their cruises even better.
Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu has written to First Mates (travel agents) outlining the different ways the cruise line will make their cruises better in 2025.
Here are seven changes Virgin will make next year.
Pricing
Virgin Voyages is ditching dynamic pricing on cruises so prices will be more stable. Core pricing will match similar flights, so you can be confident that booking early is the best deal.
new application
The cruise line also launched a new onboard app. The first phase of beta is rolling out soon and will make booking a meal easier than ever.
As Saverimuttu said in an email, pre-ordering a meal will no longer feel like The Hunger Games.
Longer booking window
Virgin Atlantic is opening up new cruise bookings earlier than ever. The cruise will start sailing in the spring of 2027 and before the end of the year.
Cruises can be booked at least two years in advance or more.
More itineraries
Virgin Atlantic has also added new itineraries ranging in length from 4 to 16 nights. They added more than 30 new routes and visited 25 new ports.
The cruise line will depart from New York, sail through the Panama Canal, sail along the West Coast and, for the first time, sail in Alaska.
New dining options
Virgin Atlantic is updating menus in its cruise ship restaurants and galleys.
These include a new concept that will debut in Razzle Dazzle on Scarlet Lady called Lucky Lotus.
More entertainment variety shows
Virgin says it is adding more comedy shows, more live music and updated programming to its fleet.
group
The last change only applies to the first mate. Virgin Atlantic offers a 10% discount for all groups and groups, with no minimum number of cabins required to lock in the deal.
Starting in early 2025, groups booking 10 cabins will receive a travel conductor cabin, or agents can choose a 2% bonus commission.
